The intake form feature in Concord streamlines the process of creating and managing requests within your organization. With the introduction of new permissions, you have more control over how requests are handled.
Key Permissions Overview
1. Can Create and Modify Own Requests
- Scope: Users can create new intake requests and modify only the requests they have personally submitted.
- This includes editing form fields, adding or removing attachments, and adding comments.
- Limitations:
- No access to requests created by other users.
- Assignee field is disabled for them; they cannot change who is assigned to a request.
- Default Assignment: This permission is granted to all system roles by default, ensuring that any user can submit and manage their own requests without risk of unauthorized access to others’ data.
2. Can View and Modify All Requests
- Scope: Users with this permission can view, edit, and assign any request across the organization.
- Full access to form fields, attachments, and comments in every intake request.
- Assignee Management: They can update the Assignee field, enabling them to reassign requests to the correct reviewer or department as needed.
- Default Assignment: This permission is exclusive to Administrator and Creator - Team Manager system roles, providing them with the comprehensive control required to oversee all intake forms within the organization.
NB: Both permissions can also be granted to any current or newly created custom role, allowing you to tailor intake form management to your organization’s specific needs.
