Managing Saved and Shared Views in the Deadline Menu
The Deadline menu in Concord now offers enhanced functionality that allows you to save, rename, and share filtered views. This powerful feature helps you personalize your workflow, quickly access frequent filter combinations, and collaborate with team members by sharing standardized views.
Saving Filtered Views
- Navigate to the Deadline menu in either calendar or list view.
- Apply your desired filters.
- Click the "+" button to add a new view.
- Enter a name for your view in the pop-up modal.
- Click "Save view" to confirm.
Your new view will be saved under the "My deadline views" section in the navigation bar.
Managing Your Saved Views
Once you've created saved views, you can:
- Access a saved view: Click on any view name in your "My deadline views" list to apply its filters.
- Rename a view:
- Open the saved view
- Click "Rename"
- Enter a new name in the field
- Press ENTER or click outside the input area to confirm
- Delete a view:
- Open the saved view
- Click "Delete view"
- Confirm deletion in the confirmation modal
Sharing Views with Team Members
Share your filtered views with colleagues to improve collaboration and ensure consistent filtering across your team.
- Share a new view:
- Create a new saved view following the steps above
- In the save view modal, enter the name for your view
- Enter the email addresses or names of colleagues you want to share with
- Click "Save view" to create and share
- Share an existing view:
- Open a saved view from your list
- Click the "Share view" icon
- Enter the email addresses or names of recipients
- Click "Share view" to confirm
Recipients will receive an email notification about the shared view and can access it in their "Shared views" section.
Working with Shared Views
When you receive a shared view:
- The view appears in your "Shared views" section with a "Shared by [User Name]" label.
- You can access the view just like your own saved views.
- Note that filtering controls are disabled for shared views—only the view owner can modify the filters.
