# Create an API Key

### Creating an API Key

- From your Concord account, click the lightening bolt icon(Automations)
- Then select **Integrations** and open the **Concord API section.**
- Click **'Generate a new API Key'**

- The private API key will appear in a pop-up window. The key is only displayed **once** so you will want to copy and store it somewhere safe. If you lose the API key, you will need to generate a new key following the same steps outlined above.
